Deuce has a great people personality and loves to work. Deuce will earn his Master Hunter Title next spring under pro trainer, Daniel Kaiser, owner of Dust Buster’s Kennel in Idaho. When we first bought Deuce, we thought that he had to have show lines in his pedigree, but were very surprised to find that he is from 100% field breeding. He has a blocky head, is light yellow in color with the black nose and eyes, a short muzzle, and a stocky body, very handsome for a field lab.

Deuce’s sire, 2001-2002 National Amateur Field Champ Candlewood’s Ramblin Man, “Ram” and his mother, FC-AFC Brookdale’s Sugar and Spice, “Ginger”, are owned by Jim and Judy Powers of Sheboygan, WI. Jim who ran Ram, now retired, will also run Ginger, now 5 years old, in the 2006 Nat’l Amateurs. Deuce could become the son of 2 NAFC’s. Both Ram and Ginger were trained by Mike Lardy, trainer of the most dogs that have won the Nationals.
